How can utility regulators provide leadership to help the country confront its utility problems in such an environment? This seminar examines critical issues for federal and state officials while focusing on the leadership skills that are needed to help the country confront issues, make difficult trade-offs, formulate policy changes where appropriate and make attitude and behavioral changes where policy adjustments alone are inadequate. In the context of the substantive discussion, participants will explore leadership questions and discover new tools, resources and paradigms for facing what many see as insurmountable challenges. This seminar is financially supported by PURC and offered free of charge to utility commissioners. Advanced registration is required as seating is limited.
